Microsoft Forum: Event Alert Notifications don't Display Values for all Fields in Event

Thanks, Jason, I know I can write a workflow and how to do it, and that is what I will do.

But my question still remains: why aren't the fields populated by the alert template? Especially since I've realized that they do appear in the mobile view.
