Query In SP runs 10x slower than straight query - NOT Parameter Sniffing Issue

This seems to say its doing the same physical operations..

Have you tested the hardware? If its reporting that many more reads, and performing the same number, that would indicate a possible bad sector on one of the drives, causing it to 're-read'. If that data is indeed cached, and cached in the ram, its possible a similar thing is happening there.
