can not see custom .NET Framework data provider in Report Builder's connection type, but can see in SSRS

Hi Rajan,

Currently, Report Builder doesn’t support custom Data Processing Extension. A custom Data Processing Extension can only be deployed to a Report Server or a Report Designer. Since you can see the U2 data source type in the SQL Server Data Tools, it indicates that you have deployed it to the Report Designer properly.

Although the U2 data source type is not available in Report Builder 3.0, we can still edit a report published to the report server in Report Builder, and then save it to the report server to view the report.
