Clearing cache

I am trying to clear the cache of the app. Firstly the mainpage I have to choose a certain condition than it goes to another page with the selected condition. But currently, after I go back to choose the condition page and proceed to the page after I choose the condition, it still take the previous condition. I followed the example of this site but still the cache I believed is still not clear. The settings also duplicated, cause I put a Home on the settings charm. So now it keeps duplicating.
