Saving The On/Off Values of Dynamically created Toggle Buttons

I was looking at using local storage. I'm not sure how to use event handlers for buttons created dynamically. Can you point me in the right direction? I think local storage is probably the correct solution. (sorry, I'm brand new to Windows 8 dev) thanks.
