Virtual Desktop using Multiple Monitors

Hi All,

I have two monitors attached to my machine. When I create virtual desktops, both monitors are used as one virtual display for each of the virtual desktop. Is it possible to create virtual desktop using one monitor and exclude another monitor?

I want this feature so that I can run my GUI application on the monitor (which get excluded from virtual desktop) and thus changing virtual desktops on other monitor will not effect this GUI application.

If it not possible to have virtual desktop pertaining to one monitor then can we share GUI application among multiple virtual desktops so that when I move from one desktop to another, my application remains unaffected and display on all virtual desktops.

I don't want to spawn multiple processes of my GUI application i.e. one for each virtual desktop.
