Priya, as the name suggests view is for viewing purposes. It does not store anything physically on the disc. So when you say that a View based on a variable, it is wrong. A view can never be based on a variable, because the scope of that variable is only till that session is running. Thus the moment the session is closed your view is also gone.
What Olaf has suggested is the best way to handle your scenario.
