Aside from everything else, you're doing a lot of string manipulation. Strings are immutable so for every single change you're making there, you're creating a new string (and abandoning the previous ones in memory).
If you have to do that, use a StringBuilder instead.

Rather than any of that though, have a look at this which I think will provide you a more direct way of getting started. I've never used it, but it looks to be more appropriate.
