ListView Threshold and indexed lookup column filter

When doing a filtered view the listview threshold still happens because of the way the view is returned. In Sharepoint it will first return all of the items and then filter down. By using an indexed column (such as ID), then it works properly. Reminder that if you're doing this, then you must use an indexed column and you cannot use OR statements in your filter.
