App crashes when Settings Pane is opened(which will be loading) and again clicked on app

I have few Commands in Settings Pane, so when my app is busy with refreshing or something, When I click open the Settings pane, it shows the that "Getting information from my app". So when I click on the app, the app crashes. Can you please help me with this issue?
