How to use Sqldatareader in Threading in C#

this is how we can stop the thread, which can be done by increasing the frequeny from 2 to some other sutable time. but I do not want to do this as my process should complete in 5 mins so I can not increase the time.

now I want to undrstand the use of thread for fetching data from DB.
