Thanks Katherine. I created very simple main reports so I knew there wouldn't be any kind of errors. In VS 2012, the error produced from the subreport is that it is trying to look in my local debug folder for the report instead of looking on the report server. I just need to know why the behavior is like that in VS 2012 and doesn't at least display the main report like VS 2008. Are you not seeing the same behavior when you reproduce my scenario?
