Future of SharePoint Administrator after SharePoint Online (Office 365)

Hi Guys,



I have been working as SharePoint Administrator since last 4 Years.



I am worried about my career after I heard of companies migrating to Office 365 to save their IT cost.



I see that SharePoint Administrator will be out of the role because when companies opt for SharePoint online they do not require admin to design, manage, upgrade, backup, administer their SharePoint farm.



I would be glad, If could help answers few of my questions.



1. How much will this impact SharePoint Administrator?

2. What should I do to sustain in IT Industry?

3. Will Microsoft completely drop support and product release for SharePoint on-premise servers?

4. Should I learn SharePoint Development?
