I also am using the ManagementObjectSearcher for other devices as well (e.g., locate a COM port).
Can anyone explain why the ManagementObjectSearcher.Get() just hangs and doesn't return?
I am using Windows 8.1 and this just started occurring this morning. It worked fine just yesterday.
This does not seem to occur on a Windows 7 machine.
