SPSecurityTrimmedControl not working - help?

Hi Philo,

According to your post, the script inside the SPSecurityTrimmedControl working.

Here is a working demo that I have tested in my environment:

After modifying the master page, save, publish the major version and make an approval for this master page in the Master Page Gallery, ribbon will show/hide for users with different permissions.

I would suggest you follow the steps above to make another test to see if the issue still exists even after the master page has been published and approved.
