how to find existence of a file in a folder on ftp from stored procedure.

how can it be done with out ssis. that is reading file system from stored proc.

you've undocumented extended stored procedure xp_fileexist for that. But I prefer doing it in SSIS as above proc is undocumented and implementation may change in future versions
