As per the query(IF EXISTS BLOCK)
You are updating if even one case id exists... and since you are performing an inner join operation, there won't be much effect of the OR statement there.. I think thats where you must do accordingly to the business logic you have...
Can you elaborate the business logic there or give me a good understanding of what you are trying to achieve so that I can rewrite it?
