Want to Know the difference between WPF and Windows Store Apps?

1) WPF apps can run on the Surface PRO 3, but run only on the desktop and don't get the controls that store apps have

3) Windows Store apps are more designed for tablets then wpf. The architecture is whole different. More optimized for lower power, they are safe (that why lot of api's are not available). can be installed from the windows store.

So if you dont need any api's that are not avaialbe to store apps i would go that way for tablets
