window.close() not working in Chrome and Mozilla

Hi,

All these browsers have their own debuggers and error consoles. so in chrome browse the page and press F12 and go to the scripts tab and set a breakpoint on your lines of code and see how they execute. Same for firefox. Both browsers have an error console, see if there are any js errors appearing
