CSV export producing different result in preview vs report server

Hi All,

I have a report that users access via the web and often export as CSV. When I designed the report, I made sure to name all my textboxes, and set the DataElementOutput property on all my various objects -- so that I could be sure that the CSV output was clean and useful.

I designed the report in BIDS (visual studio) and tested the CSV output by previewing the report in BIDS, then choosing the CSV export option.

Then I deployed the report, and to my dismay have found that when I run the report on the Report Server, then choose the CSV export option from there, the CSV output is not the same as what I get when I export the CSV from the BIDS preview.

I thought there might be some sort of caching going on, so I have deleted the report from the server and re-deployed it several times. Still no luck.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?
