Hi guys, one question. I got an huge table with 250 million rows. Setdate (datetime2) and, let's say Val(int). I need to join a couple of table with DateFrom (datetime2) and Dateto (datetime2), yearly. That's mean from 1-1-2010 to 31-12-2010, 1-1-2011 tp 31-12-2011 and so on. My question is if I should transform this table as calendar, day by day in order to improve the performance or if I can keep the structure ( so setdate between dateto and datefrom) by the moment that the performance should be the same. I'm tempted to use the first solution (transforminmg the second table in a vertical calendar) but if the performance doesn't change I could leave the actual structure.
Any thought?
