At present there is no pivot control for windows store app. On the windows phone app, pivot is very useful because of the small phone screen size. But on a tablet or a PC, screen is usually much larger, that can allows us to display much information. There are two levels of navigation may be a better choice in windows store app. The first lever is an overview (called a hub).Currently this page contains a ScrollViewer that allows the user to scroll to see more contents if they can’t fit on a single screen. On that page, you can display the detailed content, or if needed, display another list (such as a list of headlines). Refer to this link below to get more information about hub:

You can also use a FlipView on the details page, which allows the user to quickly navigate between items.
