IE 11 and SSRS Print Button

Hi Anup,

When we print a report for the first time from the client, we always run into a Security Warning that window prompts us to install Microsoft SQL Server, which requires us to download an ActiveX control for printing reports.

To fix this issue, enable the setting Download signed ActiveX controls in Internet Explorer so that we can install the required control. For more details, please see:

1. Click Tools -> Internet options.
   


2. Switch to the Security tab, select the Trusted sites zone, and then click Sites.
   


3. Type the URL of the SQL reporting server, click Add, and then click Close.
   


4. Click the Custom level button, scroll to the ActiveX controls and plug-ins node.
   


5. Click Enable for Download signed ActiveX controls, and then click OK.
