For me, when I upgraded the Report viewer from version 9.0 to 11.0, the print button is visible and the printing is working fine in all IE browsers (IE 8 to IE11) without setting the compatibility mode. The styles are also good. The only issue was with those messages and it looks like we have to live with that.
