Passing parameters to a drill through SSRS report being displayed in MVC using a report viewer

I have created two SSRS reports, the first just displays a list of items and the second is a drill through report which accepts a parameter from the first report and displays details based on the parameter passed to it.

I deployed the two reports to a report server and tested them and everything works fine.

I then proceeded to call the first report in a report viewer control to display the report in a web application on a .aspx page.

The first report, which is the main report displays correctly.

However, when I click on the link that loads the drill through report, a blank page displays. I can see the parameter that's passed by the first report displaying in the parameter field but nothing loads.

Even when I click the view report button at that point nothing still displays.

Has anyone ever implemented anything similar to this and how did you get this to work.

Any help is well appreciated.
