Select by Max(predictiondate) and by Days Difference in a single Sql transaction

I would suggest that you provide a more extensive example, preferrably with CREATE TABLE statements for your tables and INSERT statements with sample data, and the desired result given the sample. And with all dates om the form YYYYMMDD for less confusion. You talk about dates in May, but I only see dates in January, February and June! (And 04/25/2014 is not a date in Lisbon at all.)

And, oh, don't forget to tell us which version of SQL Server you are using. That could matter.
