Winforms Tips

Dear Professionals

I want to develop a winform application. There will be a header, footer, left side navBar, and a content or client area. I want the user when click a menu or a button, either on the header or navBar, to show related forms on the content area? how to implement this behavior of showing different forms or user controls on the same content are, based on a specific button click? I know I can simply perform show-hide operation, but this will be ridiculous ifI have 10s of forms, which makes it difficult to handle at design time. Any help or clues?

Also I will appreciate it, if you give me some tips, best practices, or demo applications that may help me developing my solution.
