does derive table use where clause fillters inside

Raj, You may look at the execution plan to understand how the querying is being processed. As I said earlier, there are no differences between those two statements. Hence, both are processing in the same way by optimizer. But, you may check the execution plan at your environment and actual data to understand the same.
