Based on my test, javascript URL cannot work when we email report use MHTML format. However, it is fine when we view the email in a web browser. If we are use original URL, it is work fine no matter which format we are use. Please try to use original URL in the report to check if the issue is persist.
If the issue is persist, please clarify the render format of the subscription. It is benefit for us to do further analysis.
