Hi Visual Studio Experts?
A recent upgrade to Windows 8 couldn't install Visual Studio 2005. Hence, can I use Visual Studio 2008 targeting .NET Framework 2.0? And resolved to use only Windows 8 or greater.
Just want to hear it straight from the horse's mouth whether a dll built in Visual Studio 2005 (.NET Framework 2.0) is exactly as same as when built using Visual Studio 2008 targeting .NET Framework 2.0? And the dll has only C# 2.0 features and not anything greater?
Here's the scenario, the end-user machine is Windows XP 32-bit having just .NET Framework 2.0 and nothing greater? Still VS 2005 dll = VS 2008 (2.0) dll? Granted?
Thanks
